Case Study: Watch Demex demolishing over 40,000sqm

Watch the demolition in action as over 40,000sqm of obsolete warehousing space is removed to give way to a new development.

Demex was engaged as principal contractor by developer ESR to complete asbestos removal, demolition, and civil earthworks at this 17 hectare site located in the Brisbane western suburb of Acacia Ridge.

Demex engaged Pure Gold Films to create this case study video, as they were eager to showcase their wide range of capabilities on this complex project.

Pure Gold Films worked closely with the Demex marketing and business development team to develop the content and messaging for the video, and visited the site four times to capture progressive footage over the course of the project. Pure Gold Films also conducted the interviews with the Demex team and the developer ESR.

The project yielded some remarkable recycling statistics:

• 3,262 tonnes of scrap steel
• 13.35 tonnes of concrete
• 4.6 tonnes of asbestos removed
