Omega Oil & Gas – Fracture Stimulation Test Tour

The Brief

Omega Oil and Gas engaged Pure Gold Films to capture a milestone frac stimulation test at their site near Dalby, Queensland. The objective was to document a critical technical moment for the project while creating high-quality video and photography suitable for ongoing investor communications, stakeholder engagement, and broader corporate storytelling.

The filming coincided with an on-site investor tour, making it important to comprehensively capture both the operation itself and the engagement with visiting stakeholders.

Our Approach

We deployed a four person crew on site to ensure full coverage of the day’s activities. This allowed us to simultaneously capture aerial drone footage, still photography, dynamic b-roll of the frac operations, and interviews with key personnel and stakeholders, while also documenting the investor tour as it unfolded.

Close coordination with Omega’s team ensured filming aligned with site safety requirements and operational sequencing. By running multiple cameras in parallel, we were able to capture the scale, complexity, and atmosphere of the day without interrupting their sensitive operations.

Post-production combined event coverage, interviews, and cinematic visuals into a cohesive narrative. 

The Outcome

The final deliverables included a high-impact highlights video, interview-led content, and a libryary of professional still photography for ongoing use. Together, these assets provide a clear and compelling record of a key project milestone and are being used by Omega Oil and Gas to communicate project progress and confidence to investors and stakeholders.
