Pure Gold Films partnered with Bengalla Mining Company to create a People, Culture, and Recruitment video showcasing the heart of their operations—their people. Bengalla, an open-cut coal mine in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, employs over 600 permanent staff, with more than 90% of the workforce residing locally in the Muswellbrook, Upper Hunter, and Singleton Shires.

This project was filmed over several sessions to capture Bengalla’s strong community ties, its unique workplace culture, and the value placed on local employment. Through interviews with team members, we highlighted the essence of what it means to work at Bengalla—a place where everyone looks out for each other, fostering a family-like atmosphere.

The video successfully conveyed Bengalla’s commitment to its people and community, creating an engaging recruitment tool to attract like-minded individuals who share the company’s values.
