Trackworks timelapse at Cross River Rail shutdown

The Brief

Martinus engaged Pure Gold Films to capture a time-critical track possession and shutdown as part of works delivered on the Cross River Rail project. The objective was to visually showcase Martinus’ capability to plan and execute major maintenance works within tightly controlled rail shutdown windows.

Our Approach

We installed a dedicated timelapse system inside a building overlooking the rail corridor, carefully positioned to capture the full scope of the possession. The system was configured to run in a fast burst mode over a 24-hour period, documenting the shutdown, maintenance works, and reopening of the line.

To complement the timelapse, we also captured supporting video footage around the site, providing additional context and detail that helped bring the story to life within a short runtime.

The Outcome

The final deliverable was an engaging 40-second video combining timelapse and video footage. Optimised for social media, the content provides a clear, engaging snapshot of Martinus’ rail maintenance capability and is being used to showcase their work in metropolitan rail corridors.
